According to the information resource “Освіта.ua”, the rating scale of influence has been revealed on the Academicinfluence website with 183 Ukrainian higher educational establishments entering the list. The rating is compiled taking into account the outstanding people and their relation to certain higher educational establishments and their departments. The rating compilers are convinced that every educational establishment is influential owing to the people, having studied or worked there, thus the level of influence of the educational establishment is estimated taking into consideration the people having succeeded in certain fields.
183 higher educational establishments entered the world rating scale in 2020. Therefore, such Ukrainian universities as the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (No. 886 in the world), the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (No. 915 in the world), the National Technical University of Ukraine “Ihor Sikorsyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (No. 1390 in the world) entered the list of the most influential universities accoding to the Academicinfluence. The Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University and the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University have also entered the list of Ukrainian top 5 universities.
