The research reveals theoretical and methodological fundamentals of sustainable
development of water-supply complex in Ukraine, describes essence of the category, studies
peculiarities and principles of performance and proposes approaches to application of the
mechanisms of sustainable development support.
The work provides diagnostics of conditions of Ukraine’s water-supply complex in terms
of stability according to the established set of indicators, determines peculiarities of crisis
processes impact, investigates territorial characteristics of the complex development.
The thesis outlines approaches to the management of water-supply complex in Ukraine,
defines the place and importance of the instruments of state-private partnership and state
target programming as to management possibilities and studies a system of innovation
mechanisms for financial support of the sustainable development model.
The expected result from the mentioned groups of mechanisms can be determined by
presence of both innovative and conservative potential. Application of the mechanisms
enables the nearest introduction of sustainable development principles into economic practice
of water use in Ukraine.
