Information on the thesis

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of the necessity of sports and health
services market regulation in Ukraine. Considerable attention is paid to theoretical and
methodological bases and scientific-methodical and practical recommendations are
proposed that are aimed at the development of the market of sports and health services in
Ukraine.
The scientific approaches to identifying peculiarities of the analysis of the market of
sports and health services are generalized. The indicators of the efficiency of tourist flow
growth in Ukraine are calculated. It is proposed to provide a wide range of additional
services that would stimulate the growth of demand for sports and health services. A
model of state regulation of the market of sports and health services in the conditions of an
unstable economic situation, which provides mechanisms for decision-making by state
administrations based on the recommendations of the expert service, is developed.
The mechanism of realization of the priority tasks for the development and
regulation of sports and health tourism, taking into account its socio-economic importance, 20
is analyzed, as well as the main aspects and directions of regulation improvement of its
development in the territory of Ukraine are described. Practical recommendations on the
use of foreign experience in the provision of sports and health services in Ukraine as well
as management of sports and health services in order to ensure an effective process of
development of the investigated industry are given, specifically refers to the organizational
and economic directions of the management policy of different countries that are
important for efficiency improvement the functioning of the sports and health market of
services within the framework of the national economy.
The complicated macroeconomic situation in Ukraine has led to a crisis financial
state of physical culture and sports, which adversely affected the development of sports
and health services in Ukraine. In such conditions, sports and recreational facilities and
sports facilities can not function effectively.
Expanding the theoretical content of the concept of “sports and recreation sphere”,
the attention is focused on such key characteristics as: the call to address a range of socio-
economic problems, such as the unification of society, distraction of youth from harmful
habits, disease prevention, increase in average duration and quality of life. The essence of
the sports and recreation sphere, which consists in the improvement of the population, and
also by means of which the state’s economy is enriched, is extremely important in this
difficult political-economic period that is going on in Ukraine. In view of this, sports and
health services are subject to state regulation.
It is revealed that the possibilities of regulating the sphere of sports and health
services depend on the proper choice of instruments, methods and mechanisms of
regulation and are determined by available resources and their sources. In this regard, the
regulation of the market for sports and health services is to achieve the maximum under
these conditions of the limited society resources use effectiveness to meet the needs of the
population in the industry.

of different countries that are essential for improving the efficiency of functioning of the
sports and health market of services within the national economy.
