The dissertation is a comprehensive study of the mechanisms of regulation of the
pharmaceutical market of Ukraine as a strategic engine of innovation changes and one
determinants of public health care.
It is proved the need of multidisciplinary approach in studying of the processes of
regulation of the pharmaceutical market. An institutional and functional structure of the
pharmaceutical  market  was  proposed.  Targets  and  functions  of    the  mechanisms  of
government regulation of the pharmaceutical market are determined. On the basis of
foreign experience of regulation of the pharmaceutical market, the main vectors of its
adaptation to national conditionsare highlighted.
Through  the  focus  of  macroeconomic,  sociodemographic  and  regulatory
determinants  specific  features  and  mechanisms  of  the  pharmaceutical  market  of
Ukraine are studied. Correlation analysis of key market indicators of the demographic
and  socio-economic  indicators  was  fulfilled.  Disadvantages  of  using  intellectual  and
labor potential  pharmaceutical  sector  in the  context  of increasing  product  innovation
were determined.
Strategic  vectors  of  development  of  the  domestic  pharmaceutical  market  were
proposed. The  application of effective controlling in the strategic development of the
pharmaceutical  market,  necessity  of  regionalization  regulation  of  the  pharmaceutical
market in Ukraine,
