Ivan Franko Lviv National University took fourth place in the ranking of the best universities of Ukraine according to the version of the prestigious international ranking uniRank – 2023. The list of the best universities was recently published by the authors of the ranking and it included 181 higher education institutions of Ukraine.
The criteria for getting into uniRank are the University having all the necessary licensing and accreditation documents, at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree and conducting courses mainly in the traditional, face-to-face format of education.
Institutions of higher education are ranked in the ranking according to the principle of the popularity of universities in the Internet space, based on independent webometric indicators collected from authoritative sources.
The first three positions among Ukrainian universities were occupied by the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Kharkiv University or Karazin University.
